Aurora Bank CD Rates February Review 2012

This Aurora Bank CD rates February Review, 2012 has some sad news to report. This was one of the smaller financial institutions that had been offering great above average CD rates since the financial crisis. That period of time has now expired and again I have to report a reduction in the CD rates being offered by Aurora Bank.

The amount of the reductions since our last visit is from 0.20% to 0.91% in the APYs that were being offered. This makes investing your money with Aurora Bank not as lucrative as it once was.

The Aurora Bank certificates of deposits are still setup in tiered format, but all of the levels have the same rates at this time. These deposit levels are $1,000 and $100,000.

The current bank CD rates include the 6 month CD that is earning an APY of 0.10% and 0.10% respectively. The 1 year CD is earning an APY of 0.15% and 0.15%.

The 18 month CD that is earning an APY of 0.15% and 0.15%. The 2 year CD is earning an APY of 0.25% and 0.25%.

The 3 year CD is earning an APY of 0.35% and 0.35%. The 4 year CD is earning an APY of 0.35% and 0.35%.

The best CD rates are from the 5 year CD is earning an APY of 0.35% and 0.35%.

All CD rates being offered by Aurora Bank are fixed rate for the life of the investment. At the maturity of the CD there is a 7 day grace period in which the customer can make changes to the account without having a penalty assessed to the account.

The Aurora CD rates were posted on February 5, 2012 but are subject to change without any prior notice.
