The Atlas Bank CD rates are from a United States federally chartered full service mutual savings bank. They are dedicated to meeting the needs of all Greater New York City metropolitan area business professionals and individuals. Originally it was named Polish-American Co-operative Savings and Loan Association. This financial institution was founded by Jozef Jankowski along with fourteen other Polish immigrants on August 1900 in Brooklyn, New York to help Polish immigrants gain financial stability in the new world.

The name was again changed to Atlas Savings and Loan Association on August 3, 1938. Then on February 17, 2010, citing the need to provide more products and services for their customers, the institution converted from a New York State-chartered savings and loan association to a federally-chartered mutual savings bank and changed its name to Atlas Bank. Today, Atlas Bank has over $75 million in assets.

There is a $2500 minimum required to open and maintain a CD account with Atlas Bank. Their 6 months CD has an interest rate of 0.75% with an APY of 0.75%. Their 9 months CD has an interest rate of 1.00% with an APY of 1.01%. Their 1 year CD has an interest rate of 1.65% with an APY of 1.66%. Their 15 months CD has an interest rate of 1.70% with an APY of 1.71%.

Their 18 months CD has an interest rate of 1.75% with an APY of 1.77%. Their 2 years CD has an interest rate of 2.05% with an APY of 2.07%. Their 30 months CD has an interest rate of 2.20% with an APY of 2.22%. Their 3 years CD has an interest rate of 2.25% with an APY of 2.28%. Their 4 years CD has an interest rate of 2.45% with an APY of 2.48%. Their 5 years CD has an interest rate of 3.10% with an APY of 3.15%.

There are no account service fees and the statements are issued quarterly. These CD rates have been posted June 07, 2010 and are still current and effective as of June 21, 2010. Of course, Atlas Bank CD rates may change without prior notice.
