Bank of the West CD Rates

The Bank of the West CD rates are not disclosed on the website for this financial institution. They prefer you go to a branch office to discuss any investment in a CD. What they do disclose is that there are 4 different types of CDs offered at Bank of the West.

There is the Flexible term CD. This type has a minimum deposit of $1000. The interest is calculated daily and paid out either monthly or annually. Withdrawals are restricted until the maturity of the CD and statements are sent out annually or monthly. The terms of these CDs vary from 32 days to 60 months. At maturity, there is a 10 day grace period where if no action is taken it is renewed under the original terms of the investment.

The Premium Money Market CD has a minimum deposit of $2500 and has the interest calculated daily and paid out monthly or annually. Withdrawals are restricted until maturity and statements are sent out monthly and annually. The terms are 91 days, 182 days, 8 months, 12 months, and 24 months. This has a 10 day grace period at which the investment will be reinvested at the original term if no action is taken.

The 7-31 day CD requires a minimum deposit of $100,000 and has the interest calculated daily and paid out at maturity. Withdrawals are restricted until maturity, and statement issued monthly. The terms are from 7 to 31 days and there is a grace period of 1 day or the funds are reinvested.

The Jumbo CD is the last option this bank offers. The minimum deposit is $5,000,000. The interest is calculated daily and paid out monthly or annually. There are restrictions on withdrawals until maturity. Statements are sent out monthly and annually. The terms are up to 60 months and there is a 10 day grace period with automatic reinvestment at the end of it.

The best CD rates from this financial institution can only be found at a local branch office. The Bank of the West CD rates may be good, but I could not find out.
