At the moment, there are two different types of CDs being offered by this financial institution, the regular Chase CD and the Special Chase CD. The CD rates below are for the Pennsylvania area. Chase does vary their rates from region to region in America from time to time.

The regular Chase CD requires a minimum deposit of $1000 to open an account. The 36 month CD has an APY of 1.01%. The 24 month CD has an APY of 1.01%. The 18 month CD has an APY of 0.75%. The 12 month CD has an APY of 0.25%. The 6 month CD has an APY of 0.25%.

The Chase special CD rates are for the initial term only and require a deposit of $10,000 to open an account and to receive this special rate. The 60 month CD has an APY of 3.00%. The Academy Bank CD Rates offer a wide variety of rates and terms that are considered competitive on a national level.

The current CD rates from this financial institution for the 60 and 48 month CDs have an interest rate of 2.48% with an APY of 2.50%. The 36 month CD has an interest rate of 2.23% with an APY of 2.25%. The 30 month has an interest rate of 1.99% with an APY of 2.00%. The 24, 18, 15, and 12 month CDs each have an interest rate of 2.23% with an APY of 2.25%. The 9 month CD has an interest rate of 1.30% with an APY of 1.30%. The 182 day CD has an interest rate of 1.10% with an APY of 1.10% and the 91 day CD has an interest rate of 0.25% with an APY of 0.25%.

Each of these CDs does require a $500 deposit to open an account. Early withdraw from these CD accounts is penalized. For a 91 day CD the penalty is 31 days simple interest. For the 182 day CD the penalty is 90 days of simple interest. From 183 days to 59 months the penalty is 180 days of simple interest. From 60 months to 119 months the penalty is 365 days of simple interest and for over 120 months the penalty is 730 days of simple interest.

At maturity, these CD’s have a 10 day grace period in which the funds may be withdrawn or reinvested. If no action is taken by the investor then the CD roles over into the same term CD as it was in.
