This is an Everbank CD rates December Review 2011 that has to report the reduction in the CD rates this financial institution has to offer since our last visit just a few months ago. The amount of the reduction is from 0.05% to 0.19%. These reductions occurred in every term across the board at EverBank.

This latest reduction is not that great, but the trend of reducing rates on CDs for the financial sector of the world is still continuing. This makes investing your money in this type of security not as favorable as it once was. Fortunately the size of the reduction in the CD rates is smaller than it has been in the past which means the bottom might be near.

To open an account for certificates of deposits a minimum amount of $1,500 must be placed with the bank.

The current bank CD rates include the 3 month CD that is earning an APY of 0.30%. The 6 month CD is earning an APY of 0.55%.

The 9 month CD is earning an APY of 0.55%. The 1 year CD is earning an APY of 0.75%. The 18 month CD is earning an APY of 0.75%.

The 2 year CD is earning an APY of 1.10%. The 30 month CD is earning an APY of 1.26%.

The 3 year CD is earning an APY of 1.26%. The 4 year CD is earning an APY of 1.26%. The best CD rats are from the 5 year CD which is earning an APY of 1.81%.

These are the current Ever CD rates that were posted on December 2, 2011 but all rates are subject to change without any prior notice.

The Everbank CD rates September Review 2011 noticed a mixture of changes since our last visit to this financial institution. Five of the terms went up for a larger return of investment for your money. There were also five terms in which the APY’s were reduced.

For investing your money with EverBank, you need to know which ones will give you the best value. There is a requirement minimum deposit of $1,500 for you to open certificates of deposits account with EverBank.

The current bank CD rates include the 3 month CD that is earning an APY of 0.35%. The 6 month CD is earning an APY of 0.61%. The 9 month CD is earning an APY of 0.61%.

The 1 year CD is earning an APY of 0.85%. The 18 month CD is earning an APY of 0.85%.The 2 year CD is earning an APY of 1.15%. The 30 month CD is earning an APY of 0.85%.

The 3 year CD is earning an APY of 1.30%. The 4 year CD is earning an APY of 1.30%. The best CD rats are from the 5 year CD which is earning an APY of 2.00%.

Why the management at EverBank decided to lower some of the terms by 0.05% and raise other by 0.01% on the shorter length CDs is unclear. The longer term CDs that were reduced is following the national trend of a reduction in the return on investment all Americans are feeling when they invest in the conservative style of making money.

These Ever CD rates were posted on September 9, 2011 but are subject to change without prior notice.

When searching for local CD rates, most Americans find that their local community bank can only offer a special rate on just one or two CDs at most. The financial institutions that have been the most consistent are the credit unions.

For the overall best CD rates, they can only be found on a regular basis at the national bank level. The following list is what the best rates at the different term levels are currently. Compare these to your local bank offers. Show the local bank what you can receive from them and just maybe they may give you a better rate. This is the advantage of dealing with a local bank; they do not have the unknown heads of conglomerates running the show from thousands of miles away.

Today, May 21, 2010 the best national CD rate on a 5 year term is from EverBank. They have an interest rate of 3.09% and an APY of 3.14%, with a minimum deposit of $1500. The interest is compounded daily and this rate was posted on May 21, 2010.

The best 4 year term CD is from the Bank of Internet with an interest rate of 2.88% and an APY of 2.92%. The interest is compounded daily and the minimum deposit is $1000.

The best 3 year CD is also from the Bank of Internet. This interest rate is 2.39% and the APY is 2.42%. The interest is compounded daily and the minimum deposit is $1000.

The best 2 year CD rate is from New Dominion Direct. They offer an interest rate of 2.01% and an APY of 2.03%. This has interest compounded daily with a minimum deposit of $3000, and were posted on April 14, 2010

The best 1 year CD is from Sallie May, at an interest rate of 1.54% and an APY of 1.55%. This interest is compounded daily with no minimum deposit required. This rate was posted on May 10, 2010.

All of these CD rates are subject to change without notice. Compare these rates to your local CD rates and you can negotiate with your local bank for the best possible rate on your investment.

We haven’t updated you on Everbank CD rates in a little while, so we here at Best CD Rates Today thought it was time to let you know the latest. Especially for those popular, investment-class 5 year terms under the new best 5 year CD rates in the Yield Pledge offer.

If you don’t already know, the Yield Pledge offer says that your Everbank CD rates for the term chosen will be within the top 5% of the rates nationally available. That’s a pretty solid pledge and means that these are definitely some of the best CD rates today in annual percentage yields and with a low minimum of only $1,500 to open and maintain these Everbank CD rates.

That top-tier best 5 year CD rates offer is at 3.10% APY, which is extremely competitive nationally. The short-term 3 month Everbank CD rates are 1.25% APY while the 6 and 9 month rates at 1.60% APY.

To keep these competitive, Everbank CD rates have a 2.00% APY on 1 year and 18 month term and 2.35% APY on the 2 year to 4 year terms.

These are definitely some of the best CD rates today, especially for that best 5 year CD rates offer. We’re always on the lookout for the best CD rates today so you know what the latest always is.

All Everbank accounts are FDIC insured to the fullest extent of the law, of course, and rates can change at any time. If any of these Everbank CD rates appeal to you, lock your rate in now before they change.
