CD Rates in Utah (UT)

Often, UT CD rates are pretty good, usually because Ally Bank (formerly GMAC) is located there and is often one of the more competitive national leaders in certificates of deposit.
So let’s have a look at how Utah CD rates are looking right now. We’ll organize them by term and then rank by annual percentage yield (APY).
1 Year Term UT CD Rates
Ally, of course, is at the top here with a 2.00% APY offer with no minimum deposit requirement. Zions Bank is next at 0.50% APY with a $1,000 minimum deposit requirement while U.S. Bank comes in next at 0.40% APY with a $500 minimum deposit required.
3 Year Term CD Rates in Utah
Once again, Ally Bank has the best offer at 2.75% APY with no minimum deposit. U.S. Bank has a 1.75% APY with a $500 minimum deposit required and Zions Bank has a 1.21% APY offer with a $1,000 minimum deposit required.
5 Year Term Utah CD Rates
Ally Bank is still on top with a 3.40% APY offer with no minimum deposit. U.S. Bank has a 2.50% APY with a $500 minimum and Zions has a 2.02% APY with a $1,000 minimum deposit requirement. Key Bank has a 1.85% APY with a $2,500 minimum deposit that’s worth mentioning here as well.
