We’ll look at popular terms and rank results by annual percentage yield (APY) and include any information needed such as minimum deposit requirements as well. All credit unions listed are federally-recognized credit unions.
1 Year Credit Union CD Rates
For this term, Wings Financial Federal Credit Union has a 2.78% APY with a $500 minimum deposit requirement. Eastman Credit Union offers a 2.50% APY with a $1,000 minimum deposit and Police & Fire Federal Credit Union has a 2.20% APY with a $500 minimum. Delta Community Credit Union has a 2.15% APY that is worth noting as well ($1,000 minimum deposit).
3 Year Credit Union Certificate of Deposit Rates
For this term, there is a lot of competition with some great offers in CD rates at credit unions natinoally. Eastman Credit Union has a 3.10% APY with a $1,000 minimum deposit requirement and Wings Financial Federal Credit Union has a 3.04% APY with a low $500 minimum deposit. Police & Fire Credit Union and Citizens Equity First Credit Union both have a 3.00% APY with a $500 and $1,000 minimum deposit requirement, respectively. American Airlines Federal Credit Union offers a 2.93% APY with a $1,000 minimum as well.
5 Year Term CD Rates at Credit Unions
This term is still fairly competitive with some great credit union CD rates to look to. Police & Fire Credit Union has a whopping 4.00% APY with their $500 minimum deposit requirement and Wings Financial Federal Credit Union has a 3.51% APY while Eastern Financial Florida Credit Union has a 3.50% APY, both with a $500 minimum deposit required. Citizens Equity First Credit Union has a 3.50% APY as well, with a $1,000 minimum deposit required.
