Currently, Franklin Synergy Bank offers an online eCD of exceptional value. It is a 12 month term with a current interest rate of 2.15% and an APY of 2.15%. The minimum deposit is $1,000 to open a CD account. The maximum value one CD can possess is $99,000. In addition, no customer can exceed $500,000 in total for all of their CDs.
The eCD can only be obtained online. The process takes about 10 minutes. What a person needs to apply is a driver’s license or passport, a US Social Security Number, be a US citizen or be a resident alien. The bank numbers for the electronic transfer of funds from another financial institution is also required.
This bank actively participates with the federal government to prevent terrorists from investing and laundering money. For this reason, all information gathered and received from their customers is checked and verified.
