M&T Bank CD Rates
The M&T Bank CD Rates are from a financial institution that has been in the state of New York since 1856. Today there are over 750 branch offices located in New York, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia, Delaware, New Jersey, Washington DC and Maryland.
There are 6 promotional CD Rates current being offered by M&T. There is the 6 month CD with an APY of 0.50%. There is the 12 month CD with an APY of 0.85%. The 18 month CD has an APY of 0.90%. The 24 month CD has an APY of 1.01%. The 36 month CD has an APY of 1.25% and the 60 month CD has an APY of 2.00%.
To qualify for these promotional rates a person must have an M&T checking account and the $1,000 minimum deposit must be new money. These promotional rates were posted on May 23, 2008 and are still current as of August 13, 2010.
M&T also has 5 select CD’s in various terms. There is the 6 month CD with an APY of 0.35%. The 12 month CD has an APY of 0.60%. The 18 month CD has an APY of 0.60%. The 24 month CD has an APY of 0.60% and the 36 month CD has an APY of 0.70%.
To qualify for these select CD’s an M&T checking account must be open and a minimum of $1,000 be deposited, but it does not have to be new money. These rates were posted on August 8, 2010 and were still current as of August 13, 2010.
