M&T CD Rates

With the M&T CD rates comes the trust and confidence of a financial institution that has been serving the community since 1856. Today, there are over 750 branch offices in the states of Pennsylvania, New York, Virginia, West Virginia, Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, and Washington DC to better serve their customers.

The current promotional CD rates  are associated with the following terms. The Promo 6 month CD has an APY of 0.50%. The Promo 12 month CD has an APY of 1.10%. The Promo 18 month CD has an APY of 1.25%. The Promo 24 month CD has an APY of 1.25%. The Promo 36 month CD has an APY of 1.75%. The Promo 60 month CD has an APY of 2.00%.

 The Select 6 month CD has an APY of 0.35%. The Select 12 month CD has an APY of 0.85%. The Select 18 month CD has an APY of 0.85%. The Select 24 month CD has an APY of 1.01%. The Select 36 month CD has an APY of 1.01%.

There is a requirement for a customer to have a Select Checking Account or Select Checking Account with Interest to open a Select CD account. The minimum amount of deposit to open a CD is $1000 but the minimum amount to obtain the advertised APY is $1.00. These rates were posted on January 15, 2009, and are still current as of July 16, 2010.

The M&T CD rates stated above are for the Philadelphia area. Other areas may have different rates, so check with your local branch office for more information.
