North American Savings Bank CD Rates

The present North American Savings Bank CD rates are set against the back drop of the US monetary policy that refuses to bring interest rates up from near zero at any time in the near future.

There are two special CD at this time. The 10 month CD has an interest rate of 2.03% and an APY of 2.05%. The 17 month CD has an interest rate of 2.62% and an APY of 2.65%. Both of these require a minimum of $1000 to open an account.

Other CD’s available are the 60 to 120 month CD with an interest rate of 2.96% and an APY of 3.00%. The 48 to 59 month CD has an interest rate of 2.71% and an APY of 2.75%. The 36 to 47 month CD has an interest rate of 2.47% and an APY of 2.50%. The 24 to 35 month CD has an interest rate of 2.03% and an APY of 2.05%. The 12 month fixed CD and the 12 to 23 month CD has an interest rate of 1.04% and an APY of 1.05%. The 6 to 11 month CD has an interest rate of 0.99% and an APY of 1.00%. The 3 to 5 moth CD has an interest rate of 0.65% and an APY of 0.65%.

Each of these CD does require a minimum deposit of $1000. To obtain the APY, the interest along with the deposit must remain in the CD for the entire term of the CD. Unlike other financial institutions, every CD offer by North American Savings Bank can be opened as an IRA account with all the tax privileged that go with it. The interest is compounded daily for the term of the CD.
