North American Savings Bank CDs

The North American Savings Bank CDs are from an established bank in the Kansa City area. They first opened their doors in 1927 on the principles of strength and security. They offer their customers a selection of standard rate and term CDs. At present, they are also having a CD special.

The special is a 14 month term CD with an interest rate of 1.93% and an APY of 1.95%. This does require a minimum of $1000 to open.

The standard CD rates are as follows. The 120 to 60 month CDs have an interest rate of 2.96% and an APY of 3.00%. The 48 month CD has an APY of 2.71% and an APY of 2.75%. The 36 month CD has an APY of 2.47% and an APY of 2.50%. The 24 month CD has an APY of 2.03% and an APY of 2.05%. The 12 month CD has an APY of 1.04% and an APY of 1.05%. The 6 month CD has an APY of 0.99% and an APY of 1.00%. The 3 month CD has an APY of 0.65% and an APY of 0.65%.

Each of these CDs requires a minimum of $1000 deposited. The interest is compounded daily and to receive the APY stated the interest, along with the principal, must remain on deposit for the term of the CD.

All of the CDs are eligible for an IRA account. There is also a 12 month fixed IRA CD. This has an interest rate of 1.04% and an APY of 1.05%. The minimum deposit for this CD is $100.
