Regal Financial CD rates have 4.00% 12 month CD rates through March 15, 2009. It has been a long time since I have seen a nationally available 12 month CD with 4.00% cd interest rates. These are special promotional cd rates being offered by Regal Financial Bank of Seattle.

Regal Financial Online Bank is based out of Seattle Washington. Regal Financial is a community bank that focuses on its customers and its community.

In order to buy this 12 month cd, you need to deposit a minimum of $2,500 with Regal Financial Bank. Additionally, you need to open two other accounts with Regal Financial Internet Banking to qualify for this promotional 12 month CD.

4 percent 12 month cd are getting hard to find in today’s economic environment. Bank rates are getting lower around the nation, but you can still find credit unions and smaller community banks offering top cd rates.

A 4 percent 12 month CD is certainly something to consider in today’s low bank rate environment. However, having to open two additional accounts with Regal Financial Bank is a pretty high price to pay. Unless you can find other high interest accounts at Regal Financial Internet Banking, I am not sure that I would take advantage of this 4.00% 12 Month CD rates offer.
