Unfortunately Regions Bank has followed the national trend of continuing to lower their CD rates while the present monetary policy of the US government is to keep interest rates artificially low.

The current Bank CD Rates for the Special Relationship certificates of deposits require a relationship with another active account at Regions include the 13 month CD that is earning an APY of 0.50%. The best CD rates are from the 54 month CD that is earning an APY of 1.50%. The minimum deposit required to open one of these accounts is $10,000.

The standard CD rates include the 1 month CD that is earning an APY of 0.28%. The 6 month CD is earning an APY of 0.30%. The 1 year CD is earning an APY of 0.30%.

The 14 month CD is earning an APY of 0.30%. The 18 month CD is earning an APY of 0.40%.The 2 year CD is earning an APY of 0.45%. The 30 month CD is earning an APY of 0.45%.

The 3 year CD is earning an APY of 0.80%. The 4 year CD is earning an APY of 1.01%. The 55 month CD is earning an APY of 1.01%. The 5 year CD is earning an APY of 1.10%.

The minimum deposits required for the Regions CD rates with a term of less than 90 days are $2,500. For terms longer than 90 days the minimum deposit amount is $500.

It’s been a while since we here at Best CD Rates Today had a look at what’s available for Regions Bank CD rates, so we thought we would update everyone on the Regions CD rates found there.

Terms for Regions Bank certificate of deposit rates begin at 7 days and go to 72 months. Rates fluctuate by term, of course, with the best Regions Bank CD rates being on certain, select terms. We’ll look at those Regions CD rates with better returns first.

For a 7 month term, the current special rate is 1.01% APY (annual percentage yield). The Regions Bank 12 month CD rates are 2.00% APY, one of hte best available for this term in the nation right now.

Other specials are the 23 month term, with the top Regions Bank CD rates being 2.50% APY and then at 42 months, the rates are at 3.25% APY.

For 7 days to 2 months, the rate is 0.25% APY, 3-5 months gives 0.40% APY, and 6 months gives 0.65% APY. Regions CD rates for 8-11 months are also 0.65% APY and at 13-22 months they are 1.01% APY. For 24-35 months, the Regions Bank certificate of deposit rates are 1.25% APY and for 36-41 months they are 1.50% APY.

Regions CD rates for 43-59 months are 1.50% APY as well and at 60-72 months they rise to 1.75% APY.

With the exception of the special terms, for which the Regions Bank CD rates are higher than average and are in the top 5 for many, the Regions CD rates shown here are barely average or below average nationally.

Regions Bank is FDIC insured, of course, and current Regions CD rates change often. So if any of these highest CD rates for Regions Bank CD rates appeal to you, lock yours in today.

There are some CD rates specials going on with Regions Bank CD accounts that we at Best CD Rates Today thought you’d want to know about. Whether you have a relationship banking with Regions or not, these best CD rate specials are the same.

There are four specials right now: 6 month, 9 month, 18 month, and 39-47 month terms. These have great annual percentage yields (APY) for a certificate of deposit at Regions. They all have a $10,000 minimum deposit for the term.

Regions Bank CD rates for the 6 month term are 1.50% APY. For the 9 month term, CD rates are 1.74% APY and for the 18 month term, the best CD rate is 2.0% APY. Finally, that 39-47 month certificate of deposit will yield 3.0% APY.

Those are some good CD rates and definitely worth looking into. For the shorter-term investor, standard Regions Bank CD rates of 0.85% apply to 0-2 month terms and 1.0% APY for 3-5 month Regions Bank CD terms. Those are worth looking into as well.

All Regions Bank CD accounts are FDIC insured to the fullest extent of the law. These certificate of deposit rates won’t be around forever, so if you’re interested in them, you should act fast.

Regions Bank might not be a household name to every American, but it is one of the largest banks in the United States. For any certificate of deposit investor, the Regions Bank CD rates are well known for being some of the highest cd rates in the country. This article will review two current cds that have particular great Regions Bank CD rates, the Regions Bank 35 day CD and the Regions Bank 125 day CD.

35 Day Regions Bank CD Rates

If you are looking for a short-term certificate of deposit, the Regions Bank 35 day CD offers some of the highest cd rates for this short term cd. This 1 month cd offers a 4.00% cd interest rate. For someone who is looking for the highest interest rates, but at the same time liquidity, this 1 month cd is a great option. The minimum deposit required to obtain these great Regions Bank CD rates is $2,500.

Regions Bank 125 Day CD

The Regions Bank 125 Day CD has a slightly longer term than the Regions Bank 35 day CD, but the interest rate is a little above 4.00% on this 4 month cd. If you can afford to tie up your money for a little longer than the 1 month cd, this 125 day cd is a great way to earn a higher certificate of deposit interest rate. Another advantage of this Regions Bank CD is that it only requires a minimum deposit of $500.
