Wachovia CD Rates Update

The Wachovia CD rates update for this period remains pretty much the same as last week. So far, no new or higher rates have been on the offer from Wachovia. But for those who do not wish to toggle between pages, here’s a look at the current rates on their website.

Wachovia still has the featured CDs in some areas that they are currently in promo. The minimum opening deposit amount still remains $5000. At this time, the 23 month CD has an interest rate of 1.14% with an APY of 1.15%. The 30 month CD has an interest rate of 1.73% with an APY of 1.75%. The 37 month CD has an interest rate of 2.13% with an APY of 2.15%. So if you feel these are the rates for you, take advantage of these promotional CD rates because these promo rates may not last long.

Wachovia’s rates on their standard fixed rate CDs also remain the same. The interest rates and APYs are the same per term regardless of the balance tier whether $1000 to $100,000. The 3 month CD has an interest rate of 0.01% with an APY of 0.01%. The 6 month CD has an interest rate of 0.25% with an APY of 0.25%. The 9 month CD has an interest rate of 0.35% with an APY of 0.35%. The 12 month CD has an interest rate of 0.40% with an APY of 0.40%. The 18 month CD has an interest rate of 0.60% with an APY of 0.60%. The 24 month CD has an interest rate of 0.70% with an APY of 0.70%.
