Wells Fargo Certificate of Deposit (CD) Rates
It’s been a little while since we look at Wells Fargo CD rates here at Best CD Rates Today. So we thought we should bring you up to date on what’s happening with CD rates at Wells Fargo now.
There are four special offers, all of which require a $5,000 minimum deposit to open and automatically renew for a like period once their term ends and the renewal is at standard rates at the time of that renewal. These are competitive offers.
Those specials include an 11 month term at 0.65% annual percentage yield (APY), renewing for six months. A 14 month special Wells Fargo CD rates at 0.90% APY, renewing for 12 months is available. As is a 19 month term at 1.40% APY auto-renewing for twelve months. A 25 month term renews for an additional 24 months and offers 2.00% APY for the initial term.
Standard rates are for 3, 6, and 12 month terms in tiered returns according to deposit amount.
The three month term Wells Fargo certificate of deposit rates are 0.15% APY for $2,500 or higher and 0.20% APY for $100,000 or higher.
For a six month term, CD rates are Wells Fargo are at 0.20% APY for $2,500 or higher, 0.30% APY for $10,000 or higher, and 0.40% APY for $100,000 or higher.
For a 1 year term, Wells Fargo CD rates are 0.45% APY for $2,500 or higher, 0.60% APY for $10,000 or higher, and 0.70% APY for $100,000 or higher.
